Well i was looking on newegg for some really powerful speakers then i came across these Jaton 600w speakers. This is what i was kinda looking for powerful speakers for a reasonable price. They cost $76.50 i think that is pretty good price. I want speakers for loud music and for crisp sound for gaming.
Does anyone know if these are any good? The people like it. What you guys think?

The watts rating is meaningless marketing drivel not a real measure of power.

Any 5.1 system under $200 is not going be very good for music, just OK for gaming noise. Look at a Klipsch or Logitech system instead for $200-300, or just go with a Klipsch 2.0 / 2.1 system for around $100.

Nothing, marketing BS.

Driver size gives some indication of sound quality, but a good 4" driver could still sound better than a bad 6" one.

The Logitechs are better than the Jatons, and might be fine for music if you mostly listen to 128 kbps MP3's from P2P downloads.
