Jaton Gforce FX 5200 - problems with DVI

Hi all,

I'm having some issues running DVI on my work pc with Jaton FX Gforce 5200 AGP video card.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and latest Nvidia Drivers, and for some reason when I switch my monitor to 1280 x 1024 it has some major glitches. When I minimize a window the screen goes black and then wobbles for a milli-second or so then the screen returns to normal. This is very annoying and at the moment I am having to run 1024x768 which is not my preference.

My monitor is a Planar PL1910M and it says it can cope with up to 1280 x 1024 resolution. Can anyone offer me a solution to the problems I am experiencing? I checked Jaton's site, which is totally crap... their is only driver update, no bios/firmware....

The monitor works fine on standard SVGA cable, but DVI is the issue here. I'm stumped.
