Nebor: Jasons is healthy. I read their ad while i was sitting there, eating. they don't use any saturated fats. the bread tasted really homemade, fresh, and was really good. the meats were of very good quality too, compared to Subways and Quiznos. i also don't like Quiznos anymore to be honest, but I couldn't think of any other places.
Saxophonia: i think ppl say the only good quizno's are the ones with the Ciabatta bread, i think the one you are referring to has it. i too am sick of the toasted thing too. it just isn't enough for Quizno's to be toasted anymore. Jasons Deli has toasted and non toasted, and all different types of foods. its really great.
Wozter: i've never had Panera, but they have two near me. I'll check it out. the name is misleading, I thought they were some bakery or something.... no wonder its always got cars parked outside... must be good.
ogg: there AREN'T any mom and pop sandwhich shops near me anymore. but damn, that Jasons Deli tasted homemade. btw, I had the tuna sandwhich. Mmmm...
Jasons is a notch up, (and they serve BEER

) from the other sandwich shops. technically it won't be a sandwich shop, but for all purposes, it can be grouped with the other ones.
Schlotzky's takes a noteworthy second. It was my favorite, until i had Jasons Deli again. I'll still go every now and then when I miss the sourdough bread.
