i go to quiznos, subway, and even my 2nd favorite Schlotzyk's every now and then. went to Jasons Deli today for lunch. Healthy, damn good stuff. price isn't more than any other place. Here's how i rate 'em now (sandwhich shops that is)

1)Jason's Deli
2)Schlotzyk's
3)Quizno's
4)
5)
.
.
.
100) Subway

I'm right with you on the sandwich ratings... Well, I dunno, I really don't like Quizno's much anymore, I don't care for toasted bread.

Oh, and if you think Jason's is any healthier than the other places, you're kidding yourself.

I agree, but I'd definetly put Panera Bread in the top 3.
I used to think they were just a trendy coffee/bagel/sandwich shop, but after giving them a try it's pretty damn good.

Never heard of Jason's deli. Here are the ones that I like:

1) Quizno's (know the owner of one, has its advantages ;) )
2) Schlotzky's
3) Blimpie's

Subway subs don't taste like anything. I don't know what else to say about them except that. Quiznos subs taste really good.

I don't like Quizno's, but I do like Subway. Jason's Deli is pretty damn awesome, though. I'm hungry now. :p

I'm all over Jason's Deli. Great stuff. Their salad bar is outstanding. I don't eat there too often though as I always end up eating too much.

Hey, thanks for the props!! I've worked for Jason's for about 8 years now and couldn't think of a better place to work. It's nice to work for a company that has grown by leaps and bounds but the owners still know you by name.

Oh, and to the comment about us not being healthier than the rest, I beg to differ. We truly use the finest ingredient available and trans fat free.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Nebor: Jasons is healthy. I read their ad while i was sitting there, eating. they don't use any saturated fats. the bread tasted really homemade, fresh, and was really good. the meats were of very good quality too, compared to Subways and Quiznos. i also don't like Quiznos anymore to be honest, but I couldn't think of any other places.

Saxophonia: i think ppl say the only good quizno's are the ones with the Ciabatta bread, i think the one you are referring to has it. i too am sick of the toasted thing too. it just isn't enough for Quizno's to be toasted anymore. Jasons Deli has toasted and non toasted, and all different types of foods. its really great.

Wozter: i've never had Panera, but they have two near me. I'll check it out. the name is misleading, I thought they were some bakery or something.... no wonder its always got cars parked outside... must be good.

ogg: there AREN'T any mom and pop sandwhich shops near me anymore. but damn, that Jasons Deli tasted homemade. btw, I had the tuna sandwhich. Mmmm...

Jasons is a notch up, (and they serve BEER :)) from the other sandwich shops. technically it won't be a sandwich shop, but for all purposes, it can be grouped with the other ones.

Schlotzky's takes a noteworthy second. It was my favorite, until i had Jasons Deli again. I'll still go every now and then when I miss the sourdough bread.

Yes, the site design SUCKS bigtime. And I wish they had pics of the sandwiches. Imagin a log of break, take the insides out, and stuff it with sandwich stuff and you got yourself a mean sandwich.

panera is the same people as einstein's bagels. its pretty decent for sandwiches but its really bad for you.

whatever they give you to dip fruit in, that is really really good. I know it's just condensed milk mixed with something else.

yeah, i took a little of it though. what was really cool was when i asked them for the chips for my sandwhich, they said, "you can also get a bowl of fruit." i was like 'damn' fresh fruit costs more money i bet than those chips! and its healthy. kudos to JD.
