Hey, thanks for the props!! I've worked for Jason's for about 8 years now and couldn't think of a better place to work. It's nice to work for a company that has grown by leaps and bounds but the owners still know you by name.

Oh, and to the comment about us not being healthier than the rest, I beg to differ. We truly use the finest ingredient available and trans fat free.

Thanks again for the kind words.

"Trans fat" is about as real as "protons" or "electric cars."

I think the local chains a lot of times beat the pants off of the national chains. In the region I live they have Mr. Subb which is pretty good. Wish they had them in more locations but I usually manage to go past one fairly often.

We just had a Jason's Deli open up a few months ago here in Raleigh. It's always packed.

I love their Slim Jim (very lean Roat Beef) with horseradish instead of mayo. Very tasty.

j.del wtfpwns other sandwich places. best ham sandwich evar! and huge menu. not just sandwiches either, though that is the bulk.

panera is the same people as einstein's bagels. its pretty decent for sandwiches but its really bad for you.

i remember we both luvd Schlotzky's... where is schlotzy's on your list?

hmmm... its above panera/einsteins (for sandwiches, but i really like their bagels)... i'll put it above quizno's, but only because schlotzky's has way better chips. sandwiches are about even, i think. and both are a bit $$ for fast food.

i went to jason's deli again. this time they charged me an extra .99 for the fruit! for sake of not looking like a cheap a55 in front of the employee, i shrugged it off like no big deal. But, in my head, i was like "damn, two days ago it was free. now .99 cents!" and it was less fruit this time. last time they gave it in a bowl.

arghh... and she didn't use the bread i liked. damnit. I'm going to stick to their pre-configured sandwiches and not try to "customize it" next time.

anyways, jd is still my fave sandwhich shop.
