i remember years ago in the playoffs when the nets were on the road and the crowds chanted 'wife beater!' to him and his wife and kid had to sit through and endure it. it got so bad though that she stopped going to away playoff games or sat up in the reserved boxes. of course it could be worse... he could be married to doug christie's wife.

Jordan married his ex-wife because when they went on a date, she offered to pay for it.
 
sucks for him. losing half. I'll bet she'll demand 10K+ per month in child support too.

I laugh though at the physical abuse claims. But I can see her mentally abusing him especially after he plead guilty to spousal abuse several years back. One call to the cops claim he beat her and he would be so screwed.

She'll get more than that. One of the wife of some player got $30k a month in child support. I forgot his name, but he didn't make Kidd's kind of money.

WTF? What are you going to spend $30k a month on for the kid? These judges should be shot, to the A to the S to the S.

I remember this from when the Nets played my Celtics a few years back. I thought it would be funny to wear a white wifebeater with #5 and Kidd spraypainted on it in green. I didn't follow through... but let's just say I must've seen at least two dozen people with that EXACT outfit that night. :Q

Before they opened the escalators to the entry turnstiles, people were crowded at the base yelling, stomping, getting rowdy--you know people just wanted mayhem, when spontaneous chants of "YANKEES SUCK" were breaking out before a basketball game 😀 The place was about to erupt, it was ridiculous. The Garden was in serious mob mentality mode that night.

Oh and regarding Joumana Kidd... Top 5 NBA wife right there (Vanessa Bryant is still #1). I'd hit that every which way possible--just like Jason did! 😉
