Why? I see you're in Philly, did you want to make me a sandwich better than Subway's? 😀

Ahh, no. Just curious. 🙂

That guy is a fake. His story is that he walked to subway every day as if it was a long journey, the subway is about an hour from where I used to live and he lived above it in an apartment. He also had his stomach stapled. Good thing subway was the only thing that got him thin

PROOF???

Snopes says other wise

"Did Jared the subway guy have gastric bypass? Is that realy how he lost the weight? He is making an appearance at the Heartwalk for the AHA in Mobile, AL. The rumors around town are that he had the bypass.

In each of the three preceding cases, the college student's 245 pound weight loss is attributed to reasons other than successful dieting and willpower. Moreover, each of these explanations has a dark component that serves to erode his accomplishment: In one, Jared is a cokehead. In another, he has full-blown AIDS (which, in the world of rumor at least, goes hand-in-hand with an unstated presumption of homosexuality). In another, he's secretly had an operation that made his startling reduction possible. "

But at least in a restaurant, they prepare your food SOMEWHAT well. Subway employees (sorry, Sandwich Artisans) slop all the ingredients on a piece of bread, mumble "Anything else?" and take your hard-earned cash. No cooking, presentation or ambience involved.

I stopped going there once I thought about how expensive it is.

The quality varies widely from location to location and from sandwich artist to sandwich artist. I'm always reluctant to eat at a Subway that I've never been to before, because I don't know what to expect.

Not sure what fast food restaurants you go to that involve presentation and ambience, unless you're referring to the way they arrange your food on the tray and the crumbs left on your table from the last person.

Because WaWa makes a heck of a lot better hoagie, but you probably don't have them that far west.

There's a Sheetz in Grove City. Their hoagies are ok. Not as good as Wawa's, but they're ok.
