True with most of Crichton's stuff... I've come to expect it hehe. Still LOVE his books.
 
I just got thru reading "State of Fear" recently as well. I thought the book was pretty good. The ending was pretty weak, but that is something I have noticed in many modern authors. I think I am going to hunt down some of the books that Crichton cites in the bibliography of State of Fear. Pretty interesting perspective he had and I would like to read for myself.
