A Dragonball just threw down on my Digimon and made my Pokemon cry!!

What's with all of the obsession?

The games are boring.

The story line is thin.

The cartoons are done horribly (like they were in a hurry to make "release date&quot.

I just don't get it! Really!

TWO POKEMON MOVIES?!?! Didn't Joe Q. Public learn after the first one?? IT WAS HORRIBLE! Everyone panned it! I just don't get it!

DragonballZ is not the worse of the bunch.

I know GROWN MEN WATCHING THIS STUFF (DragonballZ at least)!!!

I'm serious, I don't get it!

I don't want to offend, but when I was into Macross AKA Robotech, it was completely different. We BUILT models. That took some skill. Besides, the story lines were complex and the animation was decent.

By the time I have kids, they're going to have suck ass toys with suck ass cartoons to go with them.

I never considered Transformers or TMNT as Japanimation, even though the cartoons were really made over seas.

How dare you say Macross storylines didn't make sense!

Macross/Robotech kicked ass. I also liked Starblazers. Pokemon and Digimon I can tolerate on tv but that's it. I have never watched DragonballZ.

DBZ has quite a catchy storyline. Watch it for a couple weeks, and you're sure to get hooked by one of the sagas, like I did. In fact, now, we take a 1/2 hr break from work each day to drive to one of our houses and watch DBZ

RipRidah: Most cartoons are made over seas. All of the DiC ones are (most memorable for me would be Inspector Gadget) and even the Simpsons is made overseas (Korea, I believe).

It's very common.

For the same reason as other things being done overseas: Cheap labor.

DBZ is cool sometimes... they add too much pointless filler and take forever to get to the "good" stuff. I like a good story but often they stretch it a bit.

If you are really bored and have a TON of free time on your hands and are very patient go watch the DBZ series. DBZ moves soooooooo slow! They devote an entire episode for a SINGLE fight, and nothing else, WTF??

The story lines in Macross don't make sense? Maybe if you catch a single episode in the middle of the series you might be confused, but if you watch the entire series it makes perfect sense. It seems as if Macross is aimed at a much more mature audience than DBZ.

DBZ stretches stories out like crazy. It's almost painful to watch, thank god I know of a local place that rents all the DBZ episodes. It's kinda annoying to have them repeat the same things over and over again, sometimes they're so dumb I want to put my fist through the TV. But the story is still pretty interesting...
