To be fair, that article is from June. I wouldn't be too surprised if the 360 closed the gap a bit with the first must have game, Gears of War, however PS2 did have a steady release of awesome titles like Okami, and Final Fantasy XII in the mean time.

Also to be fair, you're comparing a $129 console with a complete library of games to a new $299/$399 console with limited games due to limited time on the market.
