Japanese laptops? Anybody know a website?

Got a freind in japan who is still using a sony pentium 1 laptop. Its horrid to say the least. Unfortunately they dont know squat about computers and without knowing whats available or what costs look like I dont know what recomendations to make. I dont know if there are any differences or not (japanese keyboard?)...so does anybody here have any experience with foreign laptops, or know a good website to order one?

It might be best to have them get one of their local friends to help them.

If they were in the US, then www.dynamism.com is the site for importing from Japan, but that's for high-end laptops that you can't get from Newegg, not for the equivalent of a $500 15.6" core i3 Toshiba.

Problem is I know who would be giving recomendations...that would be a bad idea lol.

Didnt realize you could order from dell and such...the XPS line would be acceptable, but its over budget. Theyve got something like 650$ US and would like to have some gaming ability for internet games/MMOs and such. Trying to find something with even a low end GPU would be good. Ill have to investigate.
