I'm currently setting up an email server on Win2K Pro (Japanese) for my lab. The software is Icewarp (http://www.icewarp.com) Merak Mail Server, with ICE Webmail as a webmail server. The system is setup and running, but I'm having problems sending mail encoded in Japanese (shift-jis) using the webmail software... the japanese characters get mixed up or sometimes don't appear correctly. Receiving mail in Japanese works okay, though.
I doubt anyone has the same setup, but if anybody has had a similar experience (sending messages encoded in Japanese using a webmail program), any ideas on encoding settings (for the server) would be helpful... Currently I have it set to "shift-jis", 8bit encoding, with ISO-8 conversion off.
Well, thought I'd at least give this question a try here... Thanks.
