Japanese car culture

what do you expect... the japanese like weird things. especially vanning... those vans that look like theyre about to form voltron.
 
I'd love to lift my Expedition, put on a big fat cattle guard, lock iit in 4L and hammer it and see how many of those pieces of shyte I could take out.....

I'll admit that does sound like fun but why do people expressing creativity bother you so much? You must remember the Japanese are a different and much stranger culture then ours...

Part of the reason for the rice rocket culture is that compared to Caucasians in the USA, Asians live a lot longer at home before moving out. For men, hitting age 30 is not uncommon.

Hence, whereas Caucasian men are out on their own paying rent, utilities, food, etc., Asian men in the USA are living at home and living off their parents and thus have higher disposable incomes during their 16-25 hooligan years. It amounts to an extended childhood. Cell phone, rice rockets, stereos, computer games.

You misunderstand me. I DO appreciate the creativity and effort. Dude, those guys (some of them) put ALOT of work into that.
I just think it'd be fun to tear ass through there and watch the fiberglass fly 😀
 
Some of those old skool rides were pimp. I'd love to have an old '73 Celica... 22R baby!

But the oil coolers, funky exhaust pipes, and "vans" were a little less than cool...
 
The old school Mark II's and the Skylines are hot.......


The other cars are tore up from the floor up. 😛
