Is anyone excited to see the next two James Cameron movies that will be coming out soon? I can't hold my excitement any longer.

In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.

Battle Angel

Set in the 26th century, the story takes place 300 years after a societal collapse caused by a major war. In that society, it's a technological dark age following a pinnacle of achievement far beyond where we are right now. Cyborg technology is a way of life. People are augmented a lot as workers, so being a cyborg is not unusual. The main character is a cyborg. She has an organic human brain, and she looks like she's about fourteen years old. She has a completely artificial body and she's lost her memory. She is found in a wreckage and reconstituted by a cyber-surgeon who becomes her surrogate father.

Can't wait for Battle Angel because its like another Terminator movie but not exactly. Still I bet I will fall in love with both movies!

I doubt Maha Vishnu would care enough to come all the way from Vaikuntam...

Cameron is also doing another film (its in pre-production right now - they say Dassault is going to finance it):

Redress at 12Sixty

A young boy who obessively posts movie threads on internet discussion forums is caught by his mother in the bathroom abusing himself. Humiliated, he runs away from home only to fall into a giant crack in the sidewalk (he is a small child). There, within the crack, he will find a stairway that leads down, yet up, Escher-like. At the bottom/top of this stairway is the portal to another world where most of the inhabitants are disembodied intelligences that pass their time isolated from each other in order to avoid quantum decoherence. Each strives to remain an individual while our young protagonist wanders among the strange christalline fiber structures that are the MWT processors that run their patterns. The boy, trapped in an surreal landscape of higher geometry, befriends a sentient maitenance drone that will become the key to his journey of self-discovery. Ignored by the disembodied, wandering the decaying ruins of pre-transcendental humanity, our protagonist will find the one thing he has always sought...

Frankly, both of those movies sound like total crap. The words "paraplegic war veteran" do not bring to mind "futuristic fantasy space battle."
