I will always remember crying over him in Brian's Song.

As Sonny Corleone, and the writer in Misery.

Age 82. He made way over 100 movies.

RIP

That movie was like old Yeller, if you didn't have to accuse someone of chopping onions, you are dead inside.

I just did a James Caan movie marathon with the Mrs last week. Rollerball, Freebie and the Bean, Killer Elite, and Alien Nation.

Bummer.... I remember crying the first time I saw that movie as a kid too.

I also really liked Rollerball... for some reason!

RIP :(

EDIT: Forgot about Misery!

Wow, thats spooky. I was just thinking of him the other day. He made that TV show with the blonde, where she tries to coach little league but cant so she gets help from her dad (James Caan).

ALSO, just yesterday somebody ran a click-bait article about all the people from The Godfather who were still alive.

Sonny dying in the Godfather was definitely a well-done scene...because I registered an "emotional" memory of it. No tears or anything, but my body's "tingles" are more than for more mundane things.

That's when you know you're getting older, all the movie stars you grew up with perish.
