"Papa's got a brand-new bag!"
I've enjoyed his funkadelic style for 40 years, but his music will live on.

R.I.P.

Growing up in the late 60's he was the biggest thing around, on par with the Beatles. When the Stones went on tour in the US he was second bill (keep in mind that the Stones Fans were all white). After his first performance Jagger was hesitant to go on stage after the awesome show JB put on.

RIP James Brown. I just got into his music(besides his hits) in the last few years and I greatly appreciate what he did for American Music.

Thanks Godfather!
