I couldn't find a good tutorial that had pretty pictures in it so I decided to take an hour out of my night to create one. This is meant for iPhone hacking newbs to make it easier for them. Hopefully, this reduces some of those "How do I jailbreak/unlock my iPhone?" posts.

Do you have any insight on the preferred method for unlocking a 1.1.4 16GB iphone? I have mine jailbroken but was thinking of unlocking it for selling purposes. I have read a little bit about baseband and updated or downgrading and I don't want to brick my phone. Whats the preferred way of unlocking for a newer iphone?
