No, jailbreak developers are just losing interest.
It makes sense, though. They don't earn as much as legitimate App Store developers, and Apple has been laxing up a lot lately, so chances are that whatever tweak they put into a jailbroken phone, Apple will come out with an official version in the next firmware update, but only that it's better-integrated and somehow is more elegant because a jailbreak tweak can only go so far.
That aside, it's silly playing the cat and mouse game after 5 years. Some people would have to move on.
