Hehe, you should see what Consumer Reports (not the best mag I admit) said about their reliability. Worse than Chrysler overall...and its a luxury brand????

Stick with the 3 series, C-class, Audi A4/S4, etc.

BTW just saw the new C-class hatchback today for the first time....talk about fugly!!!

It's is fast, the engine sounds really sweet, for a V6. The interior is all Jaguar, very inviting, but was too tight all around for my taste. All-Wheel-Drive should be great for winter driving. My uncle is buying one, I drove 250 miles so I could test drive the car with him :). I wanted him to take an XJR for a test drive but he said no, my main reason to visit the guy is crushed!

Guys, it's not a rebadged anything. It does share parts with the all-new Ford Mondeo sedan, mainly the engine, but I have read that only around 20% of parts are shared. The steering, chassis, suspension, etc. are all heavily tweaked by Jaguar engineers, and the car is AWD instead of FWD like the Mondeo.

Plus, the Contour was based on the previous-generation Mondeo, and I believe the Lincoln LS shares a platform with the S-Type.

I haven't driven the X-Type yet, but the reviews I have read are quite good.

the only good C class is the C32 AMG :) Too bad they are only making 1000 for 2002. The E55 is nice too, but theres less than a 1000 of those :/
