It's funny Jackie Chan is never in any serious roles... I mean his US movies are just crap.. Around the World in 80 Days, the The Tuxedo, etc.

Hey, the man is getting old! He's 50 years old and he still has mad kung-fu skill.

I love his movies, some of his latest ones aren't that great, but I still think Chan is teh man!

he knows he is getting old. that's why the new movies are not as good as the old ones. :(

He's a sh*t actor and has no screen presence beyond the role he's good at: goofy martial arts dude with a sh*t-eating grin during his fight scenes. He's pidgeon-holed himself, and I wish they'd stop making movies with that goof ball.

I think Jackie Chan is great at the movies like Who Am I? and The Legend of Drunken Master, but when his roles are more about acting than performing stunts, he's not that great. I think he's funny, and he's really good at all the stunt stuff, but I can't take him seriously as an actor.

I haven't seen his Hong Kong-produced movies since coming to the U.S., but his movies(well, the ones I saw) have been that way as long as I can remember. He's a good physical comedy actor, and he's stuck to that genre. He always plays Jackie, like Harrison Ford always plays Harrison...

He nothing but a acting stuntman. He should just retire, I'm sure he's made enough money.

Jackie Chan acts like he is the good guy in America.
In HK everyone knows he is a pimp.
Don't let his "sh*t-eating grin" fools you.

I love most of his movies, but I have to agree with you: The Tuxedo was a piece of crap.

You can mock him all you want but the guy defied the odds of having a successful career in America.
How many other Asians try to have a career in the US and have fail miserably.

There was one movie of him some years ago. I forget the title but he was protecting this young woman and I believe her brother (who was in a wheel chair.) The movies are such crap. I remember there was one part in the movie where the wheelchair boy was playing a gameboy and you could clearly see there was no game in the gameboy. He was going "ooooo, ahhhhhh, oh no." and there were stupid game sound effects. It was the funniest thing.
