I have never heard of this movie untill just recently when Tarantio is releasing a bunch of SE DVDs. I really love and plan on picking up both Pulp Fiction and Resivoir Dogs on DVD. My question is how is this movie and how does it compare? Is it good enough for me to just go ahead and buy without spending the money on first renting it? Thoughts on the movie?

It's hilarious.

That is my favorite line from the movie.

It's a great movie. 🙂

good dialogue...well written...another soundtrack that gives tarantino the opportunity to show off his musical knowledge and taste...not a bad movie but not as good as pulp fiction....but tarantino needs to get off his ass and work on his next film instead of rereleasing special editions and what not

"Is that how you got caught robbing banks? You forgot where you parked your car?"

<--remembering Bridget Fonda in those cut off shorts...mmmmmmmmmm. 🙂

I would call it decent but not great. I personally would not especially want to own it, but if you are a diehard collector, it is certainly not a bad film. I think Get Shorty is still clearly the best Elmore Leonard adaptation, followed by Out of Sight, then Jackie Brown (with 52 Pick-Up and Stick trailing badly thereafter).

average movie too choppy like some of his other stuff great soundtrack ibought it introduced me to the brilliant delfonics and bobby womack

he was on alias as a bad guy😛 he's kinda annoying as an actor though.
I agree, his acting really really sucks... I feel like he's just being himself, even if he's supposed to be a certain character... and his voice and inflections - ick.
