Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Batman...

does the first batman movie still hold up today? I have only seen it once, the very first night it was released eyars ago.

rofl...for some reason I was thinking the exact same thing earlier...I was in my room and suddenly thought, man, Jack Nicholson played a pretty good Joker in Batman...then I was like, why the heck did I think that lol

What's freaky is, I do that random though stuff all the time, then suddenly some reference to my thought will pop out of nowhere- it's like I got psycic-o-matical powers 'er somethin'!!!!

Examples- The other day I was thinking of a movie I saw as a kid where there's this geeky guy driving in a desert, then suddenly a truck driver starts chasing him and trying to run him over (for no appearent reason). I started thinking of it right in the middle of reading a magazine. The next day I'm walking though Target and see a DVD called DRIVER which was just went on sale that day and it was THE MOVIE I WAS THINKING ABOUT!!!

What you described sound a lot more like "Duel", Speilberg's early film. Of course I've never seen Driver so I can't be for certain. In Duel, whether a truck driver actually exist remains in question even after the end.

BTW, the first Batman movie rocks. Nicholson fits his role perfectly. Too bad the Batman movie franchise went down the crapper after the second movie.

The first batman movie is probably the best super hero movie of all time. It was so dark and Gotham City sounded like NYC and looked like huge factory. It was all the greatness of the actors and director Time Burton.

"Gentlemen, let's broaden our minds! Laurence..." That's the shizza right there.

My bad...it is called Duel. Driver was that crappy video game 🙂
