Jack Kerouac

I saw references of this guy from the band Third Eye Blind and also in a song from Our Lady Peace. I looked him up and it sounds like his writings would be very interesting to read. Anyone here read them? What should I pick up to read?

Also, the Spiritual Machines book was really interesting, I need to finish it sometime.

I agree with djheater. Great books. Desolation Angels is good too.
