Jack Kerouac

My favorite is probably Dharma Bums, but you should start with On The Road. It's accessible and you'll pick up on a lot of things because of the cultural importance of the work. Pop culture of the last forty years owes a lot to that book.

i dunno, raine maida seems to like it.

Are there any other references in his music that I haven't seen?

Also, the Spiritual Machines book was really interesting, I need to finish it sometime.

On The Road is one of the most important works in American Literature. It launched a generation into thinking outside the traditional. Read it with an open mind, realize it was written about fifty years ago, and be wowed.
