I'm 90% sure that putting a J1900 in a 1U Rackmount server chassis that is running 24/7 (Download PC so 90% of the time there will be HDD writes).
Running Ubuntu probably.

I should be fine with temps right?

it would depend on how well vented the 1U is.

If its completely sealed, (think of green house effect)

The heat will be trapped and then accumulate... it will increase and increase without proper vents.

Passive 1U cases are well vented... meaning they have vent slits all over the place, while the ones which require active fans are typically sealed with powerful 40mm fans driving air though it.

Thanks I know what you mean so I guess it helps if you know what case I'm talking about.

It looks like it has some ventilation but not sure if it's enough.

Edit: At the same time though, I seen a build on another forum that has a D525 and his build had a power consumption of 25 watts and the J1900 should be a little more efficient but because my HDD will be active a lot just want to make sure the lack of airflow won't cause it to eventually overheat.
