So this ties jd to project 2025.
The orange menace can't keep claiming he knows nothing about project 2025

The New Republic: J.D. Vance in Serious Trouble After Damning Project 2025 Book Foreword.

This little creep is the gift to Democrats that keeps on giving.

Now, I'm more of a glass half empty person but man what a change in my outlook since the debate. I was literally having political nightmares (to go with the actual political nightmare). At least now I have some hope. Vance is definitely part of that hope. If Trump had picked his own "DEI hire" or even Haley or anyone not a younger bro version of himself basically he'd be in a much stronger position. And don't get me wrong, "hope" doesn't mean I'm overconfident, Trump is still quite capable of winning this, because the American public is a bunch of a doorknobs for the most part.

Crappy screenshot from my phone because I don't open these videos:

The Harris campaign can't really believe he'll turn Kentucky blue. GQP here hates his fucking guts. They think he's the devil. I don't see any electoral battleground states tipping the scales to him either. Just let him be the best D guv in the country for the next few years!!!

Davenport Darling would make a great country song. Sofa So Fine might work in hip hop.

booo-weep booo-weep This is a public safety alert to inform the thinking public that there is a new moron indicator. I repeat, a new moron indicator. Red hats and "Woke!" we knew about, add to this list usage of "DEI". If this phrase is heard, back slowly away and do not make eye contact. Do not approach, it might rub off.

Then go hide in a corner because there's a substantial % of the population fed up with woke culture and inept morons getting positions through DEI.

DEI is racist. No matter what excuses people make for pretending it is a good idea, racists have always made excuses for why their racism is acceptable. Different day, different excuse.

Hint: Individuals who are members of some minority are often the best candidate for a position but also lose that position to someone else who is less fit, because of DEI. It is not just discriminatory against white males, but even that would be racist and sexist, a step backwards for society. The way forward is to stop making excuses for racism and call out racist DEI advocates.

Regarding Vance, he is unfit, but so is Trump, and Kamala, and Biden, so par for the course. Vance may be less fit to be president than Kamala but that's not his running position and I doubt Trump would die of old age in office, so IMO it really doesn't change much what a VP candidate's positions are, except that it is further evidence of how disconnected Trump is from society... not that Kamala really cares about anything other than her own agenda either, so it's still society having to make tough choices and half the country shouldn't be forced to abide by what the other half wants.

Using the term DEI as an attack on someone is racist, shitbag.

This is one of the consolations I have, that people that act like this, are not taken seriously. If you resort to personal attacks, and haven't grown up enough to know any better, you might as well give up.

I'm sure we'll agree that like MLK said, we should all be judged by the content of our characters.

I've watched inept white men, inept black women and more get hired where I work. My worst manager by far was a white woman. Seems like the inept part is the problem...

200 years or so, you only got work or got to vote or use the restrooms if you were a certain color. That kind of thing takes time to undo. White people in power have been unable to willingly share, so we get enforced rules. Tough titties. And as a white dude, it might be me losing out at some point, who knows. I understand why its happening.

None of this has anything to do with Kamala Harris.

No hiding here, I live in fucking Florida where I hear "Woke!" all the time like the mating call of alligators in rut. It's a complete joke. People watch fictional fantasy and if they see a dark-skinned fucking ELF they start barking "woke culture!" because they can't bear the thought of a diverse world, even an imaginary one.

Personally I can't wait until there's so many mixed-ethnicity people out there that this whole thing is just completely silly. it already is, almost all of us have some of everything in us.

LoL at him claiming DEI is racist against other minorities, really going the extra mile for idiocy there.
Is this a shock to you? Does it not fit well into your false concept of reality?

If you don't understand, not my problem.

If that's the standard, then this forum is a shithole full of trolls, with a few exceptions of course but when trolls act up, it gets pretty polarized.

Yes, and DEI does not always result in inept people getting a position, but it happens far too often and then we get the examples that everyone likes to cling to as proof of their argument instead of seeing the bigger picture which is that a level playing field should be about performance, not race or gender.

200 years or so, you only got work or got to vote or use the restrooms if you were a certain color. That kind of thing takes time to undo.

I completely disagree with this. I don't know anyone who was alive 200 years ago. I share no culture with anyone of that era except through coincidence. It could be argued that the culture was inherited, but not so much, I don't know anyone who feels that you need to be a certain color to vote, or use the restrooms, or sit anywhere in particular on a bus. The only place I know where that is true is select prison populations, and that's more about finding some reason to propagate a gang mentality for strength in numbers.

No hiding here,
Except that's what you'd be doing if you have to back away from nutjobs because they are everywhere, whether it is due to overzealous political beliefs or some other reason.

Regardless, I have now made 3 posts which won't align with a few trolls' agendas, and I have better things to do than live in this topic for a few days making arguments that have no effect on reality, so I'll just opt out of this topic and spare everyone some wasted time. :)

Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away away.
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!

It’s hilarious how mindless1 never sticks around to actually discuss the merits of its posts. Just shit post and run.

As if we need more evidence that user name is on point.

Eh, no real backing away.

The bass player in my band is a "woke-ist". He doesn't bring that garbage to gigs or practices, and I don't tell him to fuck off about it. Works well! Same for my extended family, who are all rural evangelists. Those that choose not to make politics around me, they can be around me. I'm not going to suffer their aggrieved ranting over "woke". It's no different from the red scare from the 60s. You want to huff and puff about a commie behind every tree, do it on your own time. It's all a big nothing burger in the end.

I still have no idea what woke is other than code for the n-word. How is Dei a bad thing? I am successful middle aged white dude who looks at American history objectively and is appalled by the treatment of minorities and woman for most of it. I would love an MLK world but we have a Trump one.

Evangelicals are so filled with hate. How they justify ignoring the golden rule with treatment of others while pretending to be followers of Christ is amazing display of primitive brains.
