Memory 512 pc2700
Elsa Gladiac agp video
Case 400watt

I Pluged everything in, double checked all the jumpers, reseat memory/processor, tried two different video cards PCI/AGP none would work, tested the monitor on another computer with same video cards it works just fine on that system. I have also tried another power supply and i cleared the cmos, but it still no go...then i was assuming that motherboard could be sorting out in the case some where so i removed the board from the case and still the problem is there....!SOME HELP PLEASE!

Bad motherboards is my guess.

I had one and sent it in for an RMA, almost the same problems. On my board, the BIOS was shot. Funny thing was that I did not do anything in the BIOS to cause the problem. All I was doing was formatting my hard drive :( Up until that point it was running sweet!

Iwill is using a new type of RAM slot. You have to push the RAM in really hard for it to seat correctly. You may not get a beep code it the RAM is not installed correctly. I just built an XP333 system, and I had to put quite a bit of force to get the RAM seated. I recommend installing the RAM before you put the mobo in the case. Place the mobo on a mouse pad or something to support the board while you install it. I installed the RAM after I put the mobo in, and I thought I was going to break the mobo because of how hard I had to push.

Give this a try. If it doesn't work, you probably need to RMA it.

When i bought this at Fry's they actually tested the board/processor/memory, all tested ok in front of my eyes, then the tech handed me the whole setup just the way it was, i came home pluged it in and nothing. Now what could have changed from the store to my home? nothing bcuz i didn't change anything i just installed it in the case powered it on, and i have "no video" "no beeps"....

its a known problem with the ali chipset, if you try using a very low power consumption card, like a voodoo3 3000 agp it will prolly work, the voltage on the Vagp clock generator gets screwed up somewhere in production. It would be a good idea to just RMA the board, if you cant RMA, a .3v Vmod will usually fix, but i dont reccomend doing it
