Oh man....let me inform you on this. I have an Iwill KA266-R mobo and a AthlonXP 1900+. I upgraded from a Athlon 1.33 GHz T-bird core and this board royally sucks! It was only "OK" with my Athlon T-bird but with this AthlonXP it sucks big time! The official word on it is yes it does support it but I already sent one board back thinking it might have destroyed my new proc fortunately it did not but it did rip some of the contacts off my 2 sticks of PC2100 Crucial 256 meg DDR memory and Crucial didn't replace them because I had ram heatsinks on them despite the fact that I took them off when I sent them in. I replaced the memory with Kingston ram and when I got my a replacement board I can get into Windows but both of my PS/2 ports went out and it hates the ram I have now. If I have both sticks of of my 256 meg dimms in it crashes on all 3D games. If I take one out then it's fine. It's not the ram, it's the board. I ordered an Abit KR7A-133 mobo and should get it in soon. I've done quite a bit of research on this board and even talked to Abit and VisionTek (maker of my GF4 card) to see if it was a good board and it seems to be one of the most stable boards out there today! Do yourself a favor and get another mobo!

Oh uh....I uh....knew that. I was testing your observation skills..huh....sorry...I misread it for the KA266-R, my bad...you've gotta admit that it's an easy mistake to make hehe.

Well zxczxc...I looked at the KK266R online manual and it says that it supports up to a 1.6 GHz Athlon proc. Now it does not say AthlonXP 1.6 Ghz but a Athlon 1.6 Ghz; however seeing as AMD did not make an Athlon (T-bird core) past 1.4 GHz, I'd say that it would support an AthlonXP 1900+ (1.6 GHz). I would still contact Iwill to make sure that the manual is correct. Even if they do give the thumbs up on it, I would still be wary of Iwill. That's just my personal opinion because when I sent my mobo or rather had it for an RMA...when the replacement board was sent back to me, it was defective. I'm sure there are many people who have had no problems with Iwill and even those that own a KK266R but my KA266R board ran fine too until upgraded from my Athlon (T-bird) 1.33 GHz to the AthlonXP 1900+.
