Iwill kk266-R problem

I recently bought an Iwill kk266-r with a 1.2 ghz athlon and a radon le vid card when I power up the system it simply sits there and beeps. I am using a maxtor harddrive and 128mb of generic ram any idea what the problem would be? Maybe I have a one of the leads from the front of the case in the wrong spot ? dont know. My first time building a computer. any help would be great.

How many beeps and are they short or long beeps. These beeps codes will narrow down the problems.

Well the beeps are longer they are maybe a second long folowed by about a second sinlence folowed by another beep. I think that it will beep as long as I let it. I dont get any activity on the screen so I dont think that it gets even that far.
