Iwill KK266-R and USB KVM switch

So have a Iwill KK266-R MB and i'm trying to use a KVM USB switch. My other computer has a usb keyboard and mouse. Well when I plug in the usb switch into the PC ( IWILL MB) the motherboard doesn?t recognize the USB keyboard and mouse. I also tried plugging the keyboard and mouse directly into the pc that also doesn't work. Any suggestions?

The os is winxp pro sp2
