I recently built a system with an Iwill KK266-R motherboard.

I was planning on plugging it into my 4port Belkin KVM but for some reason the motherboard will not recognize the mouse through the KVM. The mouse works fine connected directly to the motherboard. All my other computers don't have this probolem.

I have tried using a different KVM port, replacing the mouse cable & updating the BIOS but nothing helps.

Has anyone heard of this or does anyone know if their is some hidden BIOS setting that will fix this?

I don't know but mine here works, and I don't know of any bios setting...

What I would do is connecting a seperate mouse to the KK266 and only hook the monitor up to the KVM and connect everything on the second computer, and see what happens...

If that works, try the keyboard, and if that works try the mouse over,,,

Well for last, if everything fails, check over with a different computer, but usually you don't need any software, that controlles this KVM.

What kind of KVM do you have? Is it a Belkin?

All the other computers work fine and so does the keyboard....

I guess I will just have to use a seperate mouse until I find a more perminent solution.

Thanks for the reply....

I am using a linksys, and it works for me, I guess...

But now I am mainly using the KVM to allow my dual head function and if I need it to have 2 computers running at the same time...
