i just got my iwill kk266 up and running. unfortunately, if i set the jumper to put the fsb at 133, the computer won't post (i get fans and hdd's spinning, nothing else). at 100, it seems to work fine. I haven't flashed a new bios yet, so i was wondering if that was an issue in older bios's. here is my hardware list: v3 2000 pci, ensoniq audiopci, usr 33.6, kingston pci ethernet card, 2 ide hdd's, 1 plextor cdrw. anyone experienced similar issues?

This is the fsb issue with some KT133A MBs. What processor do you have? It probably jsut can't overclock to that "new" speed.

For example, if you have a Duron 900 (9 * 100) and switch to jumper to 133, the Iwill will try and boot initially at 1.2 ghz (9 * 133). Even if you lower the multiplier in the bios, it still will initially boot at defualt multiplier for a few seconds before switching over to what it says in the bios.

If it doesn't boot it probably can't handle that speed.

ah, thanks for the info. i have a duron 800. i was mainly worried about my ram running at 100 instead of 133, but i set the ram speed to host clock +33, so everything is all set. thanks for your help.
