Iwill kk266 onboard sound problem

I just bought an Iwill KK266, but I can't seem to get my onboard sound to work. I have the jumper on the motherboard set to audio enabled, but in the bios I don't even see the "AC97 Audio" option under "intergrated peripherals." Is my motherboard defective? Please help!

well your problem is the bios of not finding the AC97 Audio option is that the kk266 doesn't use AC97 audio... it uses a cmedia chip... make sure you have the latest drivers etc... and maybe explain the prob a lil more
