I installed a 1.2 GHz T-Bird (Socket A) on a Iwill KK266 MOBO. I have 512 MB PC133 CS2 SDRAM installed. The board came jumpered at 100 MHz FSB, not 133 FSB. This is the first AMD system I've built. Here are my questions:
1. Is 100 FSB the proper jumper setting, or am I needlessly running below my system's capabilities?
2. I'm using a mid-size tower, with a fan on PS, a FOP32 H/S on CPU (Artic II grease) and a case fan
in the front (roughly 2800 +/- rpms right now). My current cpu temp is 91F (33C), system temp at 73F (23C). My front case fan has the air blowing into the case: should it be blowing air out? I'm concerned about my cpu temp as when playing multimdia games (e.g., Links golf), the temp will climb to 47C and the alarms are preset to sound at 50C. Do I have legitimate heat concerns? Any better solutions, like turning my fan around or using different fan H/S combination?
3. My vidcard is a 32 MB creative GEForce2 with a small fan on it.
4. My HD is 30 GB IBM ATA/100 7200rpm, and I have a Plextor CDRW installed.
Thx!
