Iwill KK 266-R BIOS Update

I currently have the April 2001 version of the BIOS. I am running a Thunderbird 266 1 GHz on Win 2000 Pro. Should I update the BIOS? Can I just get a prompt by "F8 key" during Win 2K bootup and then run the BIOS flash utility or do I have to create a bootup floppy disk?

You have to create a boot floppy.

If you have the 0426 BIOS then leave it be. There is no advantage to the newer BIOS in fact it can create problems if you are running Win2K.
