Can anyone tell me if the bios has fsb overclock? I see multiplier by jumper, but no mention as to whether or not this board has fsb step settings.. The manual seems to imply that it is present, can anyone confirm? Thanks..

Ozzman1113 ...Thank you.. I have a stick of ddr and I'm thinking of giving this board a try...I have the 1.2 in a KT7a-r and I'd like to see what the ddr is all about...

I have the IWill KA266-R with PC2100 running Windows 2000. I haven't had any problems yet. NO crashes, lock-ups, etc. I have been slowly tinkering and overclocking this guy which has been easy since FSB and Vcore are BIOS settings, while the multiplier and Vmem are jumpers.

I am very happy with the board.

There's lots of trash talk - re Iwill's (Highpoint) RAID controller. What do those of you who are using RAID say about its performance?

what vcard are you running? there is something about running the ATI cards with a setting in the bios that has to be at 10. forgot what it is called.
dont overclock the bus too much ;)

On the 22 I ordered the KK266 and recieved the KA266 from UPS today(29), I was charged for the KK. I dont have any DDR so I'm stuck. Would you return the board for the cheaper KK or go ahead and spend $95 for 256 of PC2100 amd keep the KA?

Yes I would also like to know where you found 256mb pc2100 for $95... or did you mean 128mb. Also, would it be better to get some pc1600 that runs cas2 and up it to 2100 since 2100 is only 2.5? or will it not run at 2100 and cas2? also how do you even run it at 2100? I can't seem to find any info on how people are doing it.

Yeah, 2 128MB (pc2100) sticks are much cheaper than 1 256MB stick, but with only 3 slots on the board, that limits you max. memory capacity!

I found it over at Amdmb.com at the bottom right. It sends you to crucial.com where as I look now it calls for PC1600(sorry) 256mb for $94.49(no stock)

I think i'll just go with the 128mb of pc1600 from crucial for now and see if it overclocks very well. If it does i'll get another 128, if not i'll leave it at 100 and wait for the 2100. Think it will make it to 133 ok? going to be getting a 1.33 t-bird. Which would be best, 11 x 127 or whatever is closest or 10.5 x 133? Would like to get 1.4-1.5gigs.
