Friends, I have a Mobo IWill KA-266 R and I am not satisfied with it
I do not obtain a overclock satisfactory with a AXIA 1.2. I think
about changing for another board as the Epox. What they find?
Exists a better board for overclock?

Thank you!

Erm, the KA266R is based on the Ali Magik chipset(Not too good of a reputation in regards to performance and overclocking in general). The one you've might heard about is the KK266 which is based on the VIA KT133A chipset(uses SDRAM rather than DDR) and is probably the best and most overclockable KT133A mobo today.

I had the ka266, then I got the k7t266, which was an ok board. Then I got the epox, if its ocing that you want, then the epox can give it to you. I think I will stick with this board for a long time, barring that its compatible with the athlon4....

I don't think you can definitely blame the board for your chip not overclocking until you've tried the chip in another mobo and compared the overclockability. There are a lot of people with the KA266 who can overclock just fine. I have a 1.2 axia that doesn't overclock very well. I think that I've read that the 1.2 axia isn't the best for overclocking. You may consider getting a 1gig axia and overclocking that and sell the 1.2.
