I never setup a IDE raid before.. theres that semi-hot deal for the ata/66 using the highpoint controller for 13 bucks.. excellent gift.. anyway... I'm gonna shove this on existing system with 2 of same HD... if I plug this into a DELL Dimension 4100 P3, can I use the onboard IDE controller or does that need to be disable or something ?

Also, I'll be doing mirror for protector so should I shove each drive in each controller channel or both on the same cable... thanks...

any help or suggestion is great..
