Hi, my new board GA-B75M-D3V based on B75 Efi contains NX enable/disable option but after boot w7x64sp1 disc no any input device or usb function awailable. I'm install w7 on enablebled NX but after install coplett add the

BCDEdit /Set nx AlwaysOff

-boot command and i'm set the efi nx disable w7 never boot again, Bsod - stop error. I'm not too happy why can't disable NX on this board? Any idea?!

And the future important question how to disable SMEP option on future cpu?

I don't get it. Why would you want to disable the NX bit support? That helps to prevent viruses.

Your problem of USB devices not functioning is a seperate and unrelated problem, that has nothing to do with NX bit support.

See if "USB Legacy support" or USB Keyboard/Mouse" is enabled.

I migth be wrong. But doesnt BCDEdit /Set nx AlwaysOff only apply to 32bit?

I would guess you need to use optin or optout instead. But again, still only works for 32bit applications.

System DEP configuration settings apply only for 32-bit applications and processes when running on 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows. On 64-bit versions of Windows enforced DEP is is always applied to 64-bit processes and kernel memory spaces and there are no system configuration settings to disable it.

Reply to VirtualLarry. Once you have ensured USB legacy and mouse/keyboard support it enabled, we can assist with other issues.

As others have mentioned, there is no good reason to disable NX, and it would have nothing to do with your current issue, so I don't understand why you mentioned it anyhow.
