Ivy Bridge - Three Displays (Digital Output)?

Hi, all

I've been looking for mini-ITX and mATX mobo's that can drive three displays via DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort in real use.

Although Ivy Bridge in theory supports three displays, I've yet to find one that actually delivers. For example, the ASRock Z77E-ITX has three such outputs, but only runs a maximum of two displays concurrently.

Has anyone come across a motherboard (Z77, H77 or B75) that actually drives three displays (in digital output) with an Ivy Bridge CPU?

Thanks in advance!

Thin Mini ITX looks like it should be compatible with Mini ITX, the Thin Mini ITX just has a lower Z(height) profile.

Good luck in your search if it doesn't work for you though.

Even if you find one that supports 3 displays, chances are the performance/quality will be lacking. Unless it's purely for spreadsheets or some legacy DOS apps 🙂 , I suggest getting a discrete card.

P.S. What is a "Thin" mini-ITX? Something different from regular mini-ITX?
