Keep us posted. I am interested in the temperature results after your OC.
how much are these suppose to cost?
and what about motherboards? Out Tuesday too?
That Biostar board should OC just fineAlways had great luck overclocking biostar boards.
13 phase power. I think they kicked it up a notch this time for Z77. Might have to get myself one sometime.

This processor should cost the sane as the 2500K and Z77 mobos are already available.
Figured the Biostar board would hold me over till the maximus V gets released
i looked on newegg and could not find any
edit: looks like there are some on amazon
Let me know when you get rid of it![]()
13 phase power.
The CPU voltage regulator circuit of the Biostar TZ77XE4 has ten phases for the CPU main voltage (Vcc a.k.a. Vcore), two for the CPU VSA voltage (memory controller), and one for the CPU VTT voltage (PCI Express and DMI interfaces). Therefore, it uses a 10+2+1 configuration. The voltage regulator is controlled by an ISL6367 integrated circuit, using an analog design.
From the Hardware secrets article.....
