I've sunk to a new low !

Today, i considered buying a Ti200 Video Card based solely on which card would look best in my computer.

I had to choose between the MSI Card, whose Red PCB would match my motherboard, the PNY Card with its sleek Titanium like finish, and the Hercules card whose purpule might make an attractive clash with red of my mobo.

So today, i have hit rock bottom.

Weee!

I hope you at least have a window in your case so you can see it now and again, instead of being hidden away..........or is that a good excuse to open up the case now and again to add/change the hardware, just to see it's beauty lol

And i thought train was nuts for leaving his case open so he can look at his video card.

Hehe. Top ten things not to say to an avid case modder:

10 . "Dude, I think they sold you a defective case. Look, there's a hole in the side panel!"

...

Bah! I say it's a good thing.

In our hearts, we all know that the hardware decisions we anguish over have a miniscule effect on actual performance ("Hey dumbass, don't you know that that RAID stripe size shows a 1% performance hit when accessing MP3's longer than 2:30 on an NTFS filesystem? Don't do you do your research?") Damnit! - I like my black PCB Soyo board, I like my blue cold cathode, I like arranging my drives in my case so that their arrangement will be pleasantly symmetrical to the purely hypothetical viewer other than myself.

I think we've got to start thinking about the *whole* computer user.

🙂

When the day comes that my hardware selection is decided or influenced by PCB color selection is the day I need to get a life.

<< I first decided to get the Gainward ti 200(red pcb) then I just had to get the MSI pro2(red pcb)! IMHO my computer is damn sexy!

That HSF isn't red too? What about the back case fan? Red too?...... BTW COOL!!!

Thanks guys! Yeah that's an SVC Golden Gate, mainly got it because it was cheap and works well, and same goes for the adjustable enermax fans. It just worked out well, lots of great components and they're all red! 😀

The Gainward is not only pleasing to the eye but it's an overclockers best friend. So you get the best of both worlds. I think. lol
