i've researched the right pan, now i need recommendations for an all-clad

so i heard that all-clad is one of the best pans out there, any recommendations for a 12inch all clad saute pan? should i buy in a set or individual.

IMO, I would buy individually. Why get a set when you only want one?

The general rule of thumb I use is the heavier it is, the better.

Those two things do not belong together.

It appears to me like you are only just beginning to research a saute pan. Among other things, what are doing that really needs a saute pan, such that whatever pans you have now can't manage?
