We'll I have been messin around with a s754 3000 and 3400 both newcastles.

and ive ran 4 differant benches over a gazillion times

and ive come to the conclusion that 2.4ghz (oc'd 3000 and stock 3400) 2,2,2,5 timigs at any divider your pc can handle is better than 2.8gz at anything looser than 2,2,2,5.

Like for instance

2.8 @ 3,4,4,9 166: rock stable scores 62,000 aquamark w/ 6800gt
2.4 @ 2,2,2,5 180: rock stable scores 63,000 "" "" ""
however 2.8 2,2,2,5 150: rock stable scores 67,000

doesnt hurt to use a diver and grab some tight timings with an a64. looser timigs actually makes higher clock freq useless in certain things.

i know everyone has been saying that but i just wanted to give my same .02

that is a benchmark..look at Zebo sticky above..real world stuff the A64 does not require tight memory for excellent performance
