Everytime I run windows update I get this error....."Access Denied

Network policy settings prevent you from using Windows Update to download and install updates on your computer.

If you believe you have received this message in error, please check with your system administrator."

I am logged on as myself...computer administrator.....I have been through the services, network settings, policy settings but can't figure this out. Windows catalog works fine just the update won't. I am running build 2526, 256mb ram, amd 950, 56k modem.

Thanks
