I've owned far too many cell phones

So my most recent phone bit the dust, and was still under warranty, so TMobile is upgrading me to the latest and greatest. This got me thinking...Since getting my first phone in late 2001, I've now owned:
Panasonic Allure
Nokia 3390
Nokia 8290
Ericcson T68m
Siemens S46
Samsung E310
Nokia 6610
Nokia 3220
TMobile SDA
TMobile Dash

That's far too many.

edit: i dont think I got my first phone in late 2007...

Since 2k1 I've owned 3 different model old nokia (brick style) - then 2 samsung flip phones - then a nokia 6101- now a sony k750i

-also had a nokia for overseas travel, and an ngage that somebody gave me so I used for a week and then gave to my brother

I don't remember the model numbers, but i've had 3 phones. First was in 2001 and was a nokia, second in 2003 was a Lg, and current is a LG VX-6100 i've had since 2005 I think.

I've had about the same since 1996, maybe a few more.

I only upgrade if:

1) My current cell phone breaks and isn't covered under warranty.
I've never lost or had a cell phone stolen.

2) I've had the same cell phone for 2+ years and there's an insanely good offer for a newer model.

I've had 5 phones (3 different models) since Sept. 2003

Moto T720 x2 ----- first phone stopped keeping a charge, no matter what battery, same thing happened to second
Moto E815 x2 ----- first phone stopped working all of a sudden, second phone is badly damaged
LG VX8600 (arriving Thursday)

Got them Sept 2003, Oct 2004, Sept 2005, July 2006, Jan 2007

edit: i dont think I got my first phone in late 2007...

spend the 100-200 dollars and get a phone that will last for a year and still do what you want it to do and more. People are soo tight with cell phones and they typically use it more than their land line.

Other than SkypeIn, we don't have a landline.

So we use our cell phones/Skype for all our communication needs.
