I've only seen ONE current generation Miata

It was released in August 2006, I only saw one in Yellowstone, and not a single one in Houston. What gives?

Ive rarely see the new ones in person, but they do look very nice!

the new ones are great, and I see them all the time here in VA. i plan to buy one at some point in time, but waiting to see if they have a mazdaspeed version coming out which I expect them to.

you're not driving in the right part of town. i've seen quite a few.

plus, people don't buy convertibles when winter is around the corner.

and a lot of people are buying solstice and sky instead. although, they suck in comparison to the miata.

I've seen a few of them around. I like the current one quite a bit. Best looking Miata in years!

I suspect that the relative abundance of 2 seater convertibles is what's hurting sales of the Miata. I hope it survives though. It's a great car...probably one of the best in that segment.
