Just bought Avril Lavigne cd. Ok, who do I give my man-card to?

Cd, btw, is actually pretty good.

🙁 You will be missed

The talent is okay, although the depth is severely lacking, but it's entertaining pop. The lyrics sound like they were written by a 15yo girl (well, duh). I guess I haven't heard the latest one, but the last one, I really liked how each song was sort of in a different genre. It wasn't musical genius by any stretch, but very listenable.

oh my...I havent laughed that hard in a long time.

you cant have your man card back yet though...you will have to spend 6 weeks as brutuskend's bitch before we let you have that back

Avril is decent prefab teen angst, you could certainly do worse. Katy Rose's lyrics make even Avril seem insightful.

Being a geezer, I prefer more grown-up female artists like Kate Bush, Tori Amos and even Fiona Apple. When I'm not listening to Soundgarden, X or Richard Thompson.
