I've noticed a trend with my 9800 np vs a ti4200 in 3d2001

An overclocked 4200 seems to kill my 9800 set up in car chase and in the lobby segments. Hell, even stock clocked GF4 have no problems keeping up.

Take Jeffs for example. (With congrads on the new NV5900 btw)

Car Chase High Detail:

Mine:65
His:78

Lobby High Detail:

Mine:73
His:91

But when it comes to Dragothic and Nature, the GF4 fades away fast.

Nature:
Mine: 130
His: 83

Not just his, but I've noticed compared to almost everybody else's GF4 that Car Chase and lobby favor the nvidia core much more than ATI's. For what reason I do not know and would like to find out. I'm wondering if this is just my rig talking here.

Note 1. I never used driver cleaner.

What are the CPU speeds of the different systems?

Also remember that it's been proven without a doubt that nVidia cheats in 3Dmark.

Your FSB/memory could be holding you back. I have a 9800np at much slower speeds than you (380/300) and I get 89fps in Lobby High Detail (Barton 2500+ @ 11X200).

Well there has to be something holding me back, I agree. Because even when I leave my video card at stock clock speeds my bench's stay the same. So maybe I have a bottleneck.

Right now I have a Barton at 174 x 12.5 (2.2 Ghz) with PC2700.

I orderd XMS 3200 LL to replace my value select pc2700, then hopefully my kt333 could push a 200 FSB. My multiplyer is set to 12.5, I likely try 200 x 11 first. I'm hoping to get a few more good months with my kt333 before making the big transistion to a Athlon 64 set up.
