I've never seen this CPU before

Okay - I have several balls-out systems. My latest is a dual Xeon (i7), next to an Amiga. My latest system, at work, is an HP workstation, with a Xeon W3503. This is a DUAL-CORE Nehalem... I have never even heard of this CPU, but it's there, no bullshit. Have any of you guys heard of this chip? I would've expected Anand to speak of this somewhere - Is this a WXXXX with 2-cores disabled? Catia runs like a crack-fiend on this system. It actually seems faster than my Cousin's AMD 940...

Intel had this chip in early reports . Its the one I blew up about with no HT. Dumbest move intel ever made.

Although I've never seen the processor your talking about, newegg.com has had a dual core Xeon based off the Nehalem architecture available for some time now.

Anand has talked about Nehalem core scaling for a while.
It's built to be able to go from 2 to 8 cores (at least), and 4 is just where they started.

Proof: 130W TDP. Intel wouldn't do that unless it had four cores on die.

I'll post a CPU-Z shot later in the day... Scholzpdx / Nemesis 1, I have better things to do than talk smack about a rig I would never build for myself. It has 6GB ram, not 1... hell, my netbook has 1.
