Overhead an older woman and her daughter talking and they were discussing what way they were going to take to get to the mom's house. When the adult aged daughter figured out why they were doing a weird routing she got excited "OH! Little Caesars!!" and then they proceeded to talk about how excited they were for it.

Don't get me wrong - I don't mind me some butter soaked bread crazy bread but its nothing I'd get excited over

I don't get /quite/ that excited, but I get a little excited when I get LC for dinner. I like it a good bit for the price.

Little Ceasars is the shit of the shit as far as Pizza.

It's the only place I know of that you can get a decently big sized pizza for a flat $5.... There's a reason for that - it sucks.

Well, have you ever had Gumby's?

Next to CiCi's it is probably the worst quality pizza that you can find anywhere. Their gimmick is that they are only ever associated with college campuses, and they deliver until 4am or something like that. But the pizzas are fricking huge...a large is something like 28" and they are all giant slices, but I think they use playdough in their recipe...which kinda makes sense. I didn't really look at that website so I assume their prices are now well above what I recall from ~98 or so, but it was always a great $10 option when it's late as hell and you're too drunk and stoned to care.

....but the pokey sticks are legendary. Probably the best hot cheesebreads you can get anywhere...which is strange. Because why not make some competent pizza as well?

I haven't heard of Gumby's and I'll be honest I haven't had a delivery equivalent pizza in as long as I can remember...

Personally if I want Pizza that badly I'll either go with some decent frozen ones from the grocery store, MOD Pizza, or the equivalent of a nice Chicago-style one. I love me some Lou Malnati's nom nom nom.

You can't get a $5 frozen pizza that comes close to touching LC. That's what makes it good. Better than anything I can get from the store at that price point, and requires zero effort from me to fix it.

Little Caesar's is decent these days. I'll eat that over Pizza Hut, if I'm paying.

Seconded

I go there to maximize my dollar.

Pizza's enjoyable if cooked thoroughly.

If you really want to give in to deliciousness - buy the Italian Cheese Bread.

Little Caesar's can be good. Their crust is just edible. But yes, way too many of them suck and can't cook a pizza properly. I absolutely will not even consider ordering from there within an hour of closing as they've half-cooked it literally every single time we've done that. I've had to finish cooking probably 5 pizzas from there the last 2 years. I noticed they added a "Well Done" option to their online ordering, I'm guessing because they got so many complaints about undercooking pizza.

I tried their pretzel pizza, and that's been frustrating. So the Extra Most Bestest is $1 extra, and the pretzel is $1 extra, but trying to get them both is like you're speaking Ancient Egyptian Algebra. And on top of that they've somehow not cooked it properly the I think two times I've tried it. The outer crust was flat (which happens a lot with Little Caesar's; sometimes it rises properly, and I've had times ordering two pizzas and one will be flat and the other rise properly), and then the second time they undercooked the bottom and honestly I think they just threw the pretzel salt on the normal crust as it didn't even look right (I wasn't there the 2nd time).

Oh and speaking of online ordering, you can't customize things for crap on some options. Like can't customize Pretzel Crust (can't choose it when making your own, and can't do anything if you select it you can only add it as is). Pizza Hut has a similar frustrating issue as they have a $5 menu thing, but if you do that you can't customize the stuff the same as you normally can (sauce being the main thing I want to change).

Their thin crust is ok but you end up with what feels like 1/2 if not 1/3 as much pizza.

We got a Little Ceasar's here maybe a few years ago, it's ok. It's kinda interesting that you can just walk in and pickup a pizza right away. They don't do deliveries or online orders, it's basically walk in only, but that's cool if you're driving home from work and want a quick pizza. It's not the best, but it's alright.

We used to have one WAY back in the day, pretty sure it was better back then and think they were more like a normal pizza shop where they do deliveries and stuff, but maybe not... been a while. Then it closed down and everyone was sad as it was the best pizza in town at the time. We have tons of pizza places now though. Guess it's a pretty solid business to be in lol.

Great now I'm hungry for pizza. I start day shifts tomorrow, and work through the weekend, I think I'll order one on the weekend. Been trying to cut back on fast food, not only for health reasons but financial reasons. It adds up fast. But I allow myself a treat when I'm working night shift or a weekend day shift as I can't leave to go eat at home.

It would seem a lot of people eat shit!! They make a very handsome profit!! I have never seen a Little Ceasars go out of business because of the shit they serve!!

Giordano's >>>> Little Ceasar/pizza places. Everybody knows that.
Yep Giordano's has one of the best frozen pizzas out there, and at a good price as well. Used to get it every so often before 7-11 starting their own pizza to go.

7-11 pizza is surprisingly good. You just have to get it when it's fresh out of the oven and it hasn't been sitting there for a while.

I think you can get a full pizza there for $5 cooked too.

I had a really great pizza place a few blocks from me that made them fresh. The owner however moved and a nasty diner took its place.

You take a risk with Little Caesar's. Sometimes it's super good. Sometimes is nasty and inedible.

If you're so poor that you're mostly eating ramen, hot dogs, and wonder bread, Little Ceasar's is a heck of a treat.

I take shit from my co-worker whenever I mention Little Caesar's. I like it, though I will concede that Jet's Pizza is def superior.

LC is good in a pinch and need something quick for a kids bday party or something. Not my regular go to but it works and they're cheap.

This. I was astounded at how good it tastes for 7-11. I usually get their taquitos but tried a slice recently and it tasted pretty good. The store I usually go to sells them pretty fast so it's kind of a crapshoot, but they're popular.

Yeah I've never bought a full pizza from them, but I'm pretty sure you can buy one for like $5 or $5.55 and they will heat it up for you so you can take it home fresh out of the oven.

It's pretty easy to tell if the pizza is going to taste good or not with how the slices look.
